Default 89 std civic, d15b1 wont start!

Ok, like the title says, it wont start. The following video is what mine sounds like, but iis not mine...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M4mQA...eature=related

It spins over super fast and sounds like 0 compression from any cylinders

Im gonna break this down in stages.

Stage 1-4 takes about 20 to 40 mins to go through

Stage one....it sounds like the video above,
Stage 2.....after about 5-10 attempts things begin to pick up a bit. It sounds like the video plus maybe a couple cyl hittin. Start to smell fuel at that point
Stage 3... after about 5-10 trys at stage two.. sounds like all cyl's are making an honest attempt to fire.
Stage 4.....if you've reached this far....and your lucky if you do... It starts running like bluh. bluh bluh....really straining and eventually running on fouled plugs....sounds like a scuby.... after 45 secs to about 90 secs...whatever is on the plugs is burnt off it begins to purr like a kitten.

ECU is telling me 16 which is my injectors

After the car is running i can take it out to run errands. it will cut on n off everytime and run great while its out. Take it home, leave it overnight, same deal the next morning....super bitchy to start, if it even starts...

ive double checked my timing, fuel pump is good, injectors are good, main relay is new(i can fill it click in my hand)

Im kinda leaning towards the distributor being the bug but really need to lean on some tech support here because i really dont know and cant afford to keep buying random parts.

Car runs super great, no smoke, no ticks, no bs, just hell to start.

ok, so if we even go with that.....then whats making spin so fast and sound like it has no compression. Even with bad injectors, wouldnt it still spin over normally but not fire??? Just stumped and aggravated

I would definatly start with a compression check, if it is leaky injectors it would "flood" the cylinders and "wash" them out. 94

PS do the compression check in the morning, "Take it home, leave it overnight, same deal the next morning....super bitchy to start, if it even starts"

Havnt gotten around to the compression check yet, but my ecu is throwing code 4 as well as the 16....crank postion sensor is in the dizzy on these old dual points, correct? If so, does code 4 mean bad dizzy?

would a leakdown test be useless at this point?

It would not, [pointless maybe] it would tell you if the loss is out a valve or past the pistons or even the HG.

Pointless, because a rebuild is needed anyway.

If your on a tight budget you can get away with just fixing what is wrong and reassemble engine.

If you can afford it, a rebuild would be worth it, [depending on the rest of car and if you plan on keeping it].

Again if you can afford it, now is the time to put as many $$$ into the head as you can afford, [lots of HP and torque to be had in the head]. 94
