Default 89 crx fuel pump questions

is there a priming procedure. it was sitting for a few months with empty tank and filter removed. replaced both. i here it working, but not starting. i removed lines and its coming out slow. should it be coming out with force? figured id ask if anyone has any info

Multiple possibilities... improper installation of the fuel pump, bad fuel pump, split or loose primary fuel hose, or clogged fuel filter just to name a few... it should be coming out with force. Make sure you have at least a half tank of fuel. Priming should only take a few key cycles... like five to ten if everything is operating properly.

Was the gas level. thanks for the heads up. i got a 12$ fuel pump off ebay, so i only put a little over 3 gallons in in case it didnt work and i had to take it out. wasn't enough. never actually had to replace 88-91. only 96+, so im use to not having to drain or drop tank..
