First: have you joined HCW yet? the guys over there can help greatly. but ill help you as much as i can.

I have a 91 rt4wd with a gsr swap and i have the CRV 5 speed tranny. the crv tranny is the only way your gonna have an awd setup.. now a crv tranny thats a mt is hard to come by.

But if you do find one and do your whole bisi H to B adapter plate, the stock Civic wagon diff is geared differently than the transmission. the ratio is miniscule but if youre not gonna daily it, it can be done.

now down to your whole tranny dilema, you could really find a stock RT4wd tranny with the SL (6 speed) a little easier and you can get an H to D bisi plate for like $600??

Sorry this was a long read, hope it helps.
