88 civic hatch STD lug

Default 88 civic hatch STD lug

How hard is it to replace a lug (front drivers side) of an 88 civic std hatch?
are they punded in or threaded in?

you could just get a new hub from a junk yard and to tell you the truth I dont know if the stups are threaded but i would assume so.

You mean a STUD? THey are not threaded, just punched in with a spline around the shoulder. IT will be WAY easier to replace just the stud rather than the whole hub. Make sure you thread a lug nut onto the stud to protect the threads before you pound it out...

cut the stud off - pound out the rest of the stud- grind off one edge of the new stud head/shoulder- install it with a lug nut nad you're done.
