please someone help me out i bought a new tach and have been trying to figure this out all afternoon, where do i connect the tach wire to? some people have told me ecu some have told me coil i dont know what to do? im not really good with wiring so please explain where i tap into to get my tach to work? have another question i know that a 88-91 civic si guage cluster will bolt right in to my stcok plug and the tach will work does! does anyone know the color of the wire in the plug that isnt being used on my stock guage cluster? please?

 

you can run your power wire and light wire (turns tach light on) to you fuse box. you can run the other wire to the conector right by your distributor cap. its got a blue wire and a white wire running to it and from it. unplug the conector and put your tach wire into the whole that's for the blue wire. pug it back together. its the easiest way to do it w/o cutting into stuff. it also makes a water proff connection (theirs a rubber gasket in the plug). if this doesnt make sense i'll try to post a lil better explination as im super tired
