Default 8.5lb flywheel effectiveness

in the process of an h22a w/5spdLSD into my 4door 90 accord lx.....my question is "what real differences should i expect with an 8.5lb flywheel......will it make much of a 1/4mile difference"....i understand it will rev quicker, better throttle response, etc., but what about the other things........getting a CFclutch with it, CAI, and stuck with the stock LX exhaust/manifold for a while.........just being told it will help .1-.2 in the quarter with all else even....seems like wishful thinking to me....

i didn't think it would make a noticeable difference in the 1/4 (<.1 seconds)....nice surprise....i knew about a lot of the other benefits.......can't wait to get it on the road...

it depends on how you drive really. if you shift slow, your rev is gonna drop just as fast as it goes up. i drove a gsr w/ a ACT 8.5lb flywheel and i didn't like it. doesn't seem to be streetable. i stalled it hundreds of time and just gave up driving it.

You get used to it, and there are advantages. Heel/toe shifting is easier once you get used to the engine's newfound ability to rev.

he is right..it will rev alot faster and it will also drop alot faster...

street driving you will get used to it...once you do everything else will feel slow..

ever rode a street bike, and revved it up?? like WHOOOOAAAAA, with a flick of tha wrist, or blip of the pedal..
