What oil would you prefer for a B16A motor. Naturally aspirated by the way. In the summer time I use 10W 30 just because they get so hot as if 10W 30 would be 5W 30 after the summer time heat. Anyways I wanted to find out or know If this a good oil to use in the hot summer weather?????

 

you need to do your research. also in your car manual will tell you what to use! you'll not notice any diff in either oil but use what honda says you should

 

I use 10w30 in the summer and 5w30 in the colder times. I live in cali so most of the time its medium to hot so 10w30 is usually in most of the time. If your going to rev it a lot i'd say 10w30 if its normal to hot conditions outside.

Thinner oil when cold thicker oil when hot

 

The manual recommends 5W-30 all year long. And you DEFINITELY don't want a "thicker" oil when it's cold out.
