Recently my tranny has been popping out of 5th, it never did it until after the motor mount snapped and was replaced, My theory is when the mount snapped while driving the shift linkage bent from the stress of the motor hanging, i can hold the shifter in 5th and it wont force it self out, but once I let it go it will pop out, could my theory be right or is it synchros? I would think if it was synchros you wouldnt be able to get it in gear or it would be stuck in gear or atleast grind when shifting. Any help would be much appreciated.

you are low on tranny fluid, add at least a quart to it. (1.8 quarts is how much your tranny holds)
