52K, change timing belt?
Hello
My 2004 Pilot (rolled off assemby line in Oct 2003) has 52,000 on it, runs like a champ, never had any issues, but I am considering since turning the "Big five oh" on miles, to change out the timing belt, install new radiator hoses, and a new T-stat (while hoses are being changed anyway...)
Let me know if I am being **** retentive or not, and should do this or hold off till say, 75,000.
Thanks
** Rubber hoses, etc are more calendar year, heat, etc sensitive versus miles, they don't know how many miles are on the clock, but a 5 year old hose is a 5 year old hose....hence my question

the rad hoses on my 14 year old integra are original. unless they are leaking or damaged i would leave them alone.
as for the timing belt......just go by what the owners manual recommends. and if it is time i highly suggest replacing the water pump at the same time.

They do seem to be very accurate with their replacement intervals nowadays.I rarely do new hoses after the initial build. But it is a lot cheaper to do it while it's apart than getting it overheated and towed.
