Everything I search everyone is saying they get locked out when RPMs are high, but im getting locked out with engine off and low rpms if I rev it up to about 6k+ 3rd slips smooth??? Confused I think she is done but wanted some more opinions.

Cables maybe? stretched?

Clutch maybe? I know in higher RPMs you can shift into gears without pushing in the clutch. I would check that clutch out even though it's only happening in one gear. I don't have much experience with cable shifters, but that could be it considering it only happens in one gear.

 

If you can shift into 3rd gear with the engine off than its not your clutch.
