2008 Pilot charging light blinks off and on.
My 08 Pilot had alternator problems, changed it with a "new refurbished'. The charging system light comes on, but the battery is charging, tested it with a voltage charger, it was at 14.10, then with everything on 13.87-14.01. I spoke to the company that sold me the part and they said to reset the system. What would i reset? unplug the battery?
A flashing Alt. warning light is a symptom of worn brushes or brushes that are not seating properly.
To "reset" anything on your car all you need to do is disconnect the batt,. [neg.(-) terminal for at least 15min. overnight is better, keep in mind clock and radio tuning will reset and if your radio is "coded" you will need to code to re-enter it, this will also reset the ECU and will take a few miles of driving to "re-adjust". 94
