2002 Honda Civic will not start
Looking for some answers as to why my 2002 Honda Civic 5 speed manual will not start. Here is my dilemma. I was driving on the highway when suddenly the car lost power and seemed to die. After having it towed home I noticed the fuel pump has went so I replaced that and figured it would start right back up. Well it didn't. The car currently will turn over and seems as if it wants to start up but it doesn't. Does anyone have any idea what might be preventing the car from starting? Couple people I have asked told me maybe the ECU but I can't figure it out. Any ideas of possible causes??
I replaced the fuel pump on the grounds that it wouldn't pump at all when I attempted to start the car. Since I replaced it I can hear it working and have removed the fuel line and gas now spits out. I will check the main relay and get back to you. Just got the car to my shop today and will be looking at it this after noon. Thanks for the reply
Check for power at the injectors, [wire that is the same color at all 4 injectors] when the ign. switch is in bot the run and start positions.
Also check for power at IGP1 and IGP2 at the ECU/ECM when ign. is in run and start.
IGP1&2 leads are the same color as the injector power leads and the only leads at the ECU/ECM that color.
When was the last time fuel filter was replaced? 94
