2002 Civic AC troubles
We have a 2002 Civic Coupe which had an awesome cooling A/C and we never had issues with it until this week. a couple of days before it "died" I could hear a squealing noise like from a belt everytime I would turn on the AC (louder than usual) and it was constant. Then, after driving home and stopping at a drive through, the AC all of a sudden stopped blowing any air. It didn't make any noise. It was as if I had turned it off. What do you think it is? We wanna keep the car a couple more years as our kid starts driving soon and I know the civic would make a great car for her in the meantime. And no AC in FL is not an option. Thanks!
Sounds like your blower motor went out. Worst case would be your control unit as well.
I'd start with replacing the blower motor unit, also check for voltage in the control unit make sure it didn't burn out the controller.
