Hello everyone, new to the forms just want to say hi, thanks for being here.

I have a 2001 Civic LX with the 1.7L non Vtech engine, that has well an issue with oil leaking internally but its been doing that for several months, dont know if that is part of the problem I had last night. So after about 10 mins of driving it had very little power and then randomly stalled, luckily its a stick so I could just pop start it while I was driving but then it stalled again at a stop light so I couldnt pop start it. I would turn the key and it started right up but then would stall immediately. After a couple time it barely start, id have to press the gas down all the way and then it would start for a couple seconds and then stall again. I had to towed back to my house, charged the battery and tried it again today. Started right up, idled fine drove it down the road and it started doing it again.

I replaced the battery and it still does it. If I press down on the gas pedal and try and start it it will start sometimes but i have to keep the RPMs up or it will just stall.

Any ideas?
