Default 2 Very good questions

i got a thermal cat-back for my civic with h22 motor. i bought the one for the civic. the pipe which is where the cat should be is too long and is flanged for a shitty civic. so i need to get that pipe cut to length, and get a h22 downpipe flange welded onto it so it'll bolt up to my DC header downpipe.

question #1: where can i get this flange from? i've checked at fairfax auto parts and the muffler/exhaust shop which was gonna do this operation for me didn't have it.

question #2: (has nothing to do with question 1). if i take out my electrical oil pressure sender (auto meter) from the back of the block with the motor full of oil, will oil come out of that hole? i wouldn't think it would because it should all be in the pan but i just wanna make sure.

Default Re: 2 Very good questions (Boss Hogg)

cut the flange off of the header and custom everything.

oil may or may not come out assuming you are doing this with the engine OFF.
Dont wanna get dirty?
