Default 2.3 stroker high comp h22 troubles??

my h22 just started knocking, so i picked up a h23 block wich i will be using the internals for the h22, i have a set of full floating type s pistons and a high comp gasket. i threw in my info into a compression calculator and saw that this set up makes past 13.1:1 compression.. would you guys think that is safe for a daily driver?? i wouldn't mind it but i'm alittle iffy on it being driven everyday at this much..
another one of my concerns is using full floating pistons on non full floating rods.. i've done it before on another set up but the guy at the machine shop didn't really recomend it..
ive heard of people rebushing the rods..
the next concern would be using the oil squirters.. i plan on getting the crank balanced, but should i have them machine the crank to fit them?? what kind of modifications exactly would i have to request from the machine shop for this?
and how well is shotpinning rods recomended?

hopefully i can get alittle feedback n help.. thanks..
