I have 120,000 miles on this CRV. At about 90k, engine started to whine a little, especially when accelerating and especially when temp outside is below 30 degrees F. Now it whines very loudly when starting in really cold weather, about 15 degrees F and under. It seems to quiet down a little when engine is warmer, but still whines quite a bit. Please help. Thanks!

 

Have you pinpointed exactly where whine is comming from?
Have you checked your belts? 94
