Default 180,000 miles compression check??

i did a compression check on my 97 dx (D16Y8/non vtec motor) with 180,000k miles.
results:
cyl1- 131psi
cyl2- 139
cyl3- 140
cyl4- 141

I cranked it up 5 times to get the results w/ the cars battery fully heated and in good discharge condition. engine was also in operating temp at time of testing

is this just about right??

yes it was warm. i did it right after driving 25minutes and 15min after i shut the engine. I psi kept rising even after the fitfth crank. it was around 150psi on the seventh crank. my bud told me the the psi rating on the 5th crank is the one that should be noted. does anyone know why is that? also, now that i think about it, the throtle body was closed at the time. does it matter?

thats really good raymond... most cars average around 100-130
u got to remember u dont have a ultra high compression b16 or b18 like alot of guys on this board.
u got nothing to worry about cept that ur #1 cylinder was a little low.
it honesly doesnt matter how much compression u have, conisistancy is more important
when u start going below a 100, ull notice ur car wont have as much power.
but its nothing bad, just normal wear... conisitencey is best

Nothing to worry about, they are all within 10% of each other, and that's what really matters...see the other compression check post for more. Your motor is fine
