Default 172 miles on a full tank???

Im lost here. My car is stock other than a Short ram intake.
but my GAS mileage sucks. Full tank of 91 only serves me for around 170 miles !

Would it be my primary o2 sensor? but i have no check engine light?

What car, the 92 GSR? How many gallons are you filling up with, maybe your gas gauge is just off? Have you tried different gas stations? Is the air filter really dirty? Are your tires low on pressure? What kind of driving are you doing (all city, idling)? Are your spark plugs and wires in good shape? Any vacuum leaks? These are all things worth checking, they should be quick.

You can test your O2 sensor to see if it is bad.

A bad O2 sensor or the cat converter is dead. Either one is causing the car to run rich.

on my 92 GSR...fills up about with 13 gallons...just checked my tires and there great on AIR..and i do more of city driving than freeway driving.. but its only 4 miles to work and back driving in the streets. Im gonna check out my spark plugs. just did them like 2000 miles ago i believe. and im running NGK wires..

thanks on the reply..seems to me that im getting like 13 MPG..lol...which sucks bad..
