Default 11.2:1 compression, 93 octane and 100 shot of nitrous?

A workable combination? Or does this qualify as ragged edge.

i would tend to think that the ctane is a bit low for that setup. but will your engine handle the power? thats the question. if it can then get a higher octane and test it out. i say this only because with that high of a c/r that octane would probaly barely cut it, and on top of that your gonna squeeze.

i've been running 11.2 with wisecos and eagle rods for the last 6 months with 0 problems. Just that 186 at the wheels is starting to get boring...

Need details.
What block/head? What cams are you running? Headwork? What are you planning on controlling fuel with? Where will you spray?

You can do anything. It just might not last very long, especially on 93 octane. If you only spray on c116 at the track, you could probably pull it off. Just make sure that you have an excellent tuner, and don't be too suprised when you lose compression one day and pull off your head to find a melted piston, or that you're missing part of your ring land.

I think he is talking about 11.2:1 CR, not ET. If you believe that he's running 11.2 ETs w/ only 186 whp in a FWD honda, then I've got a bridge to sell you...

12.5:1 CR can be done on 93oct, 11.2 is easy. Its all about your tuning. To be safe though I'd certainly up the oct.
