Default 1 wheel wheelie bar setup or a 2 wheel setup?

hello,we have decided to step up the horsepower and class in which we are going to run, what do you guys think about this new wheelie bar setup?i just got off the phone with our chassis builder and he asked me a good question i thought i would see what everyone thinks.we are building a high 8 second car to compete in the nhra hotrod and the idrc quick classes.the car is going to be powered by almost 800 horses of 1.8 liter turbocharged power.we are down to the final touches on the chassis and we will be ready for the engine install.my chassis builder said they are building alot of cars with a one wheel wheelie bar set-up versus the traditional two wheel systems.he tells me that if the car is on the rear bar hard down the track the two bar set-ups tend to get a little squirly on the rear end and the one wheel system will have a tendency to keep the car inline.
so if you were in my shoes what would you do?buid two and try them both?i think that is my plan but i thought i would toss it out there.
thanks,
brian jenkins

What are you running? I'm assuming RWD. I can't remember ever seeing a 1-wheel, but you shouldn't be riding the wheelie bars very much if at all...I would think two would be considerably more stable if the front lifts because the torque twist is what will throw you off and the heavy springs incorporated in the bars will help prevent this. If it's FWD....I've never seen better than a 12 sec pass personally, so I don't know what an 8sec car would even look like!! On that note, do FWD's use a type of wheelie (can hardly call it that) bar that rides the entire way down the track for better weight transfer?? Anyway, sorry for the long (and probably not very helpful) reply!
