use both you dont want a cel on all say. if you dont run it you can just not plug it into c8 (wich is for auto trannys anyways so is not needed). Alos you will have to have a exhaust shop cut and weld a bung in for the o2 sensor.

I'm running 1 o2 sensor on my 1st gen. B16a. and I have slight hesitation at acceleration when the o2 sensor hasn't fully warmed up. I don't recommend this setup as these engines run better with 2 o2 sensors - one to control a/f mixtures for each pair of cylinders.

tinkerbell: To my knowledge, the 1st gen. B16a doesn't have a cat mounted o2 sensor. In stock standard form, both sensors are located in the B-pipe of the exhaust manifold.

btw - good job with the hybrid lude!

Lyonel, i went for a smog test on saturday and got bad readings cause it was running pretty rich with the A/F being about 12-13 to 1 for most of the test,
i only drove it for about 5 miles before teh test would this not be long enough to heat up both sensors?

on the cat converter - i got a half clip of a JDM Integra that had the cat converter mounted O2 sensor - but i couldnt find anywhere to hook it into the ECU so i have left it. thanks for the confirm.

thanks,

t..
