Default 00 civic si idle question

when i turn my civic on everything is fine, then i give it a little gas and when i comes back down the idle drops to about 3-4 hundred. and stays there for a while like it wants to turn off. what can i do to fix this? by the way i have a 255 walboro fuel pump and 9:1 84 mm bore je pistons. i used to have turbo on this and now that i took it off i cant get it to stay at a good idle. someone help me please.

maybe check for vacum leaks.... i had a similar problem with my idle except it would go from 1k to 2k and go up and down......i went to autozone brought some little rubber tube type thing, covered where the air was coming in. now i idle perfect. is idle at 900 normal?

you can try loosening up your idle adjustment screw and adjust it accordingly...

When you adjust your idle with the idle adjustment screw, you can't just go turning it. You have to unplug the IACV after the car is fully warmed up and then adjust it. Once search comes back up, check around for it. Make sure you do it right. You can also try cleaning out the IACV, that can sometimes cause issues like your describing.
