Replace the fuel filter, they are like no more than $25 from AutoZone. If you can't find the fuel filter on your car its mounted on the firewall to the left of the intake manifold. It is a black cylinder with a hose going from the filter to the fuel rail.

Hey just replaced the fuel filter with a napa gold filter the old one had plenty of pressure so im pretty sure my pump is good i can hear it when i turn the key up now my only guess is the main relay because it still wont start it cranks and only runs on starting fluid once it sucks the starting fluid it dies down real smooth like...??? help plz later..

You didnt completley disconnect any of the wires from your O2 sensor did you?
If you did the computer thinks it is running to rich and is not supplying the fuel.

Give us a step by step process on how you installed the gauge, since this is when you started having problems i would be willing to bet you somehow goofed up the install. Also are you getting and CELs if so check them out before you post again

This is how i installed it,I already had a little spiced wire on myu o2 wire and i wraped the purple wire from the air fuel gauge then black ground and red 2 1 of my fuses that my tach is hooked up to the gauge works when the car is running.. so that should be the rigt way. Um i think it is just my fuel pump because it dont wanna stay on unless i keep spraying gas in the throttle body dpfi the car started the problems the day i did the gauge i mean i have no idea whats wrong i have no cel blinks, i have no check engine lights, but how come before i had a cel 16 for fuel injector and i took out the little 12v 4 prong thing that i first thought it was the relay then put it back in and reseted my ecu and the code 16 went away, but yesterday i had the car staying on for a while but if u let it idle it seems as if the pump shuts of and the motor is only running of the little bit of gas that is left in the manifold then it will bog then die and will only start up iif u put gas in the TB,ppl have been saying its the main relay but i hear it click and i hear my pump turn on, on the 2nd nocth were all the dash ligts light up so imm really stumped , its like some were in the line fuel is working then fuel gets weak and wont runn no more and im haveing a rich problem when it did run before when it had the code 16 it had the wrx idle and was real choppy sputter rpms when cold and idle was very shitty all of a sudden that went away and now its not given no codes no check lights i need help.. and the ecu is on because when i turn the key up i se it flash once then thats alll... get back 2 me

try this .... remove the negative terminal from the battery ... leave it off for like 10 min, while it is off remove the gauge and reconect the terminal after 10 min ..... try that it may just be the gage.

yes try that.

if that doesnt work check your connections, i think your ecu is getting wierd readings which would make it run horrible or not at all.

This doesnt make me think you took good care in wiring it. Also make sure you have a GOOD ground. if you have to, connect it to the battery(neg) and see if it helps.

I seriously doubt your pump or relays or bad but it could be a problem i guess...but i would put my money on the wiring

oh yeah one more thing i was reading the install directions and it says this
"Connect to the oxygen sensor wire. Connect to the vehicle wiring harness, not oxygen sensor since some oxygen sensors use shielded wire"

Which did you splice in to?

ps. please try to type a little clearer sentences.
