"Reverse" mini-me timing belt issues
Z6 block/waterpump/tensioner
A6 head
A6 timing belt is too long, Z6 is just a bit too short.
I know, from a quick search, that the Z6 belt has 104 teeth, while the A6 has 107, and they both have the same deck height (212mm)
I could try to find a 105/106 tooth belt, or, if one of you would be so kind, compare my tensioner (that I bought at CarQuest) to an OEM one.
Using a mic I measured my tensioner diameter - 52.80mm or 2.078in
Maybe the A6 tensioner would help pick up the slack in the A6 belt... I guess I don't know at this point and need advice.
Thanks,
Colin
