"racing" radiators
My radiators gone, am wondering whether it is worth investing in a full aluminium rad, or so called racing radiators such as koyo or fliudyne. anyone with these radiators have any comments on their quality, pluses and minuses? I do floor my car quite often.
Depending on how much you looking to spend, what mods you have. Just my opinion, but if you had per say forced induction, then I would think a koyo or fluidyne would be worth it, since forced induction does generate alot of heat.
But, when I got a price quote for a oem radiator from the dealer, it was somewhere in the $300's, and if thats the case I would just get a fluidyne.

That is why I don't go to the dealer EVAR!!!@!@!!!~!~~!!111
With a all aluminum radiator, you may have an additional cost whilst buying fans for it. And on one of my cars, where the fan is always on, it took quite a while to warm up the car. But a couple of 6PSI blasts usually helped that out.

Aftermarket is unnecessary unless you have a decent build putting out some heat. If the only replacement you can find is already $300, just shell out the extra and get a fluidyne, everyone loves them.
Personally I blew a buttload on a C&R Racing and loved it.

I splurged when my OEM rad went and got the fluidyne....I'm glad I did.
That matched with a Mugen thermostat, thermoswitch and FAL fan, kept temps below 165 at all times.

U get what u pay for, do it right the first time! I bought a Alum Ron Davis dual core and loveit. There's a pic in my sig if u want to check it out. Great rad only its more costly than OEM. Dealerships get a big
