Heres the deal, my car rode straight and the alignment was perfect when i had these basic dampers set all the way up (so it looked stock) Then i put new rims on my car and slammed it a good 3 inch or so. Both sides of the adjuster sleeve is in the same position however the cars height on the passenger side is higher by 1/2 inch. So i lowered the passenger side accordinly but now the cars alignment is way off... SO how do i actually set the ride height? I am measuring from the fender to the middle of the wheel. Do i make sure the car is level then get an alignment afterwards? Thanks in advance
remember whatever you do to one side of the suspension it will change the other side due to the suspension geometry of the car.

Get your ride height even, then get another alignment....Every time you change something suspension-wise, you need to get the car re-aligned.

The part about getting an alignment is completely true. However, quit trying to get the car even left to right. Thats the worst thing you can do to the handling of the car.
Our cars are not even left to right stock, as the weight distribution isn't 50/50. Trying to lower the higher (lighter) side, will just place even more weight on the already heavier side, as the spring there tries to hold the car up with less help from the lighter side.
Check out any race prepped fwd Honda that has been corner balanced. It won't be even left to right. In fact, when I had mine done, they ended up lowering the already lower side, to help balance out the weight distribution.
