Default using ground control on tein

i was going to pm patrickgsr94 until i saw his signature. i have just purchased tein ss and i do not like the locks for their sleeves. i do not like to fact of using two wrenches. however i do like the ground control locks for their sleeves, just a few turns with an allen key is all it takes.
so my question is does the gold finished locking ring for ground control fit on tein coilover sleeves? has anyone tried this?

If the thread pitch is the same I don't see why you couldn't do this. It's gonna be pretty pricey to do this though.

I highly doubt this would work. Thread pitch, thread depth and width, thread diameter, all of it would have to match exactly, which most likely isn't the case.

Also the GC perches use 2.5" (64mm) ID springs. The Teins may be closer to 2.25" (57mm) ID.

i think you are trying tell me the springs are different in diameter? i could make plenty of measurements with my tein ss, since they are dissassembled.

i also just noticed the thread for gc are squared and not pointy like the teins.

• Straight spring designs in 58mm, and 65mm inner diameter.
