Default toe diffrence from civic-teg

background info:
I've gone through the process of changing my rear drums on my del sol to the rear disks from a gsr teg. in the this swap i took the whole assembly (trailing arm- toe bracket from the teg). now that i'm in the process of getting my del sol aligned the people are saying that my toe cannot be adjusted to proper specs.

heres my question:
trying to trouble shoot the problem at hand... is the toe bracket from the teg a different measurement in length then the one from the EG? if so i could fix the problem easily by getting those two parts.

anyone know the answer to this odd question?

the people that are telling you that are mistaken. The parts from a 94-01 integra are the exact same as your del sol

If you cannot get it to spec, then chances are the parts you installed are bent. Usually these rear brakes come off wreaked vehicles. Suspensions tend to twist up in collisions. If one side is okay, and the other wont get into spec, then you can try comparing different components side by side to find the bent ones. The trailing arm would be difficult one since it's so cumbersome that holding it next to the other one will be almost impossible...

But as slammed_93_hatch said, EG & DC suspension is identical...

ok i found out the trailing arm was bent... damn it all!! the motor swap was a success but now i'm dealing with this stuff before i can really drive it far. i just went to the junk yards yesterday and picked up a new trailing arm. along with that i bought adjustable toe arms and camber arms from ebay.... i want to fix this completely by my third trip to the alignment shop lol.

You could have just swaped the disc-brake spindle over onto your stock trailing arm you know. You just need specail "torx" bits to remove the bolts on the back...

Honestly, it's best to come to us before you go and start buying parts. This site has lots of info.

true... but i was only using washers for improper camber adjustment before and i don't want any toe issues anymore... believe me i'm no position to buy parts i don't think i might need.

he was talking about the bent trailing arm. You could use the one from the stock drum brake setup because they're the same as the disk setup. Although from everything I've read, once you buy the torx socket it can be a real b*tch removing those bolts. So depending on what you paid for the TA it may have been well worth the savings in aggravation
