Tein coilover problem..
i have the Tein HA coilover kit on my 96 dc2. Right now, it sits at almost factory height, but my problem is i lowered the front drivers side 3" and left the front passenger side the same, i put the car back on the ground, even drove it around my street, and there is NO difference in ride height...?? so am i doin somethin wrong here, i mean 3" different on the coilover and no difference on the overall car....
if it helps any, there is a spring and then a helper spring (smaller and thinner) which expands as i go lower, and im guessin thats why the ride height isnt changing at all, so how do i make the car go lower??
Does anyone know why this is happening? I have a set of TEIN HA (EG6 / R) as well and I have all 4 corners spring perch set to the lowest. The rear looks good with a little bit of wheel tuck. However the front still has about a 1.5" (two finger gap) gap from top of tire to fender. I am rolling on OEM Honda 15" wheels with 195/50/15 tires. My understanding is that the TEIN HA has a maximum lowering height of 3.0"? The front should be slammed at my current settings but it doesn't look anything like it. Any ideas?

Re: both Chinese Buffet and JDM_DC2R
Seems there might be a problem with either the general installation or setup of the coilovers. In order to further assist you please do the following:
1) please take the measurement from wheel center to fender for each corner.
2) take a picture of the installed suspension (wheel off)
3) picture of side profile of the vehicle.
You might also want to go through your TEIN coilover instruction manual to ensure that all parts are properly installed. No other suspension components are binding, and that all bolts/ nuts related to the installation were tightened when the vehicle's weight was on the suspension. This is done to ensure that the bushings are in the proper position when everything was tightened. Once you have gathered all the information please call 562-861-9161 (you can speak with anyone) or E-mail, philip@tein.com.
