Subframe problem...
So i was tryin to install my ASR subframe and i realized the bolts didn't line up correctly its probably like an inch off... the reason why its off is because i got into an accident a few months ago and the shop i brought it to didn't replace the whole subframe itself. All they did was rebend it back, but in doing so they didn't bend it back to the proper specifications... now im at the point were i dont know if i should just get a whole new subframe or if i should just go somewere to see if they can rebend it again to fit my ASR brace... Soo which route should i go with? Try to find a shop to rebend it to fit my ASR or if i should just buy a whole new subframe itself... i just need advice to what i should do with my situation
oh yah i also forgot this is for a 99 Civic Sedan

Take it back to the shop who did the crappy work the first time and tell them to call you when it's within spec. They got paid to do something and they obviously didn't do it right. If the SF is that far off how do your alignment numbers look, I can't imagine the car would be within the specs for alignment if the SF is that far out of spec.

i'll probably go sometime this week if they will still fix it, because i just realized that it was off about two weeks ago wen i tried to install the ASR and i got in my accident like 6 months ago... soo that would really suck if they didn't fix it...

Notify your insurance and tell them that you had the subframe checked and it isnt to spec and they will help you resolve the situation since they hate paying for things more than we do
but if i notify my insurance do i hafta to tell them that i got into an accident bcuz i didn't tell my insurance wen i got into it so my insurance doesn't go up... soo can i just tell them that my subframe isn't properly in the right specification and they'll pay for it???

thanks bro... but is there any way that someone can just rebend my subframe so that the ASR will fit or do i actually have to replace the whole thing???

Exactly. You paid the shop to repair your car correctly. Take it back and have them fix it right this time.
