Struts!!
I was woundering what would be the best struts or combo for my 91 sedan for around 500$
I want to drop it 2 to 2.5in.
Not slamed.
And no bouncing!!!
Everyone says Ground Control Sleeves are best when paired with Konis or Tokicos, but some say they wont handle more than a 1.5in drop.
So i was woundering if anyone has used the Skunk2 sport shocks with sleeves?
I hear they are shorter than oem struts so they work better at lower ride heights??

I have skunk2 coilovers with 90-93 integra struts on my hatch and it is hella bouncy. My hatch is at 19 inches at the middle of the headlights. My friend has the skunk2 Pro-c struts on his 92 integra and its not that bouncy and his ride height is at 16 inches at the middle of the headlights.

Lol, thanks bro. I've been posting updates in the "Wrenching on your EF" thread.
I really like how it handles with the Koni/GC combo, but it was a bit pricey and well past your $500 budget.
It's been raining here the last few days and I was trying to break it loose around some corners last night and it didn't even start to slide. It's on rails. I set the fender height at 22 1/4" all the way around, FWIW.

Koni STR.T's are going to be your best bet in the $300 price range, but I don't know for sure how well those would handle the higher spring rates of adjustable coilovers with linear spring rates.
But I can tell you for a fact that Koni Sport (yellow) or Tokica Illumina can most certainly handle a 2.5" drop.
ive just heard that koni tokico and kybs are just oem replacements that perform way better than stock and i hear that they dont last long when droped more then 2 inches. I would like to get the skunk2s because they are shorter than oems ?????

KYB AGX adjustables are a little better, but not by much IMHO.
Tokico Illumina adjustable shocks are very good and can handle most of what you throw at it, from lowering springs to GC coilovers.
The new Koni STR.T non-adjustable shocks are probably the best you can get in the $300 price range, and should slot in between the AGX's and Illuminas, performance-wise (even though AGX and Illumina are both adjustable but the STR.T is not).
The Koni Sport (yellow) shocks are some of the best aftermarket off-the-shelf shocks you can buy today, and probably the best you can get in the $450-$500 price range. Sounds like a lot, but believe me, they WILL last a long time, probably 2-3 times as long as most other shocks, which makes them actually cheaper in the long run.
My Koni shocks have nearly 200K miles on them and they're still working great. Not having to mess with the shocks or buy new ones in this length of time (9 years now) makes it one of the best investments I ever made for my car.
