No your car has front "double-wishbone" suspension with coil-over shocks, and rear "semi trailing-link" suspension with coil-over shocks. A "MacPherson Strut" suspension completely removes the upper control arm makes the shock absorber part of the steering system. It's mostly done for cost cutting, so many people think it's not as good. MacPherson suspension certainly doesn't offer great camber control like Double-wishbone...
Honda/Acura didn't start using MacPherson struts until the introduction of the RSX and the 2001 Civic. I'm not a big fan thus far...

94eg i see you know alot about suspension. Im looking to ride really lowerd. little over 3" maybe lower. Ive been lookin at function and forms they seem to be of good quality. I wanna know if the koni yellow with gc and top hats would tolerate being slammed. i know rideing around slammed isnt good for any suspension setup, but leme know what you recomend.

Exactly. Just get yourself some ebay slip overs and run your stock struts. They wont be doing anything anyway. Your spring rate is going to be decided by the bumpstop.

I had Tokico blues with ebay coilovers on my old lude. I dont wanna do that again...i would bottom out on everything..bouncy as hell too.

You will have to cut holes in the front shock towers to clear the upper-control-arms to get the car to ride at -4". Either way, you will bottoming out the shocks all the time, and probably be replacing them all the time. I usually say that -2.5" or 3" is the absolute limit.
PS: You would NEED extended top hats for the Koni GC setup, so factor that into a price comparison...
