hey everyone..i recently purchased a set of tein s techs from someone on this board. I'm kind of confused/worried.

When i got the springs, they came in the same Tein Box i've seen in the threads..



However..the seal was broken, there were no instructions or stickers or plastic on the springs.

Also, there are no TEIN markings at all on the springs...All the pics i've seen in the threads have TEIN and the spring rate stamped on them in white...there are no such markings on these springs.

They do have the rubber noise dampers and the springs do look very nice..but i'm still not 100% on these...its just the fact that they were open...

I asked the seller and he isnt sure?

Anyone have any input/advice/suggestions?

you should post pics of the springs themselves and any markings on them. The s.techs that i purchased a while back had 'TEIN' in white lettering on the spring. They had brown rubber around the base.

 

ill take some today....they have the brown rubber on the base..but no TEIN..also the only markings are in black..and are on the bottom coil of 2 of the springs...seems kinda fishy but then again i know the old spoon products had no spoon markings on them..but i dunno????

 

what kind of car do you have. i got then for my ek cx they had no rubber on them but the did have white lettering on then if they turn out to be fake or you just want to get diff one i have the reall thing with box and all pagers i had then on my car for like 3 month
