how come everytime i run over little cracks, after each other, i jus hear like sumthin is lose in the suspension...i have function form type2. the preload is set and tight , it's lower all the way front and back on the bottom perches. it's nothing serious, but wen i pull into my house, i hear it almost everytime. i'm lookin to jus replace lca shock bushings, with oem honda bushings. cud the trailing arm have anythin to do with this too?wat else cud it be. thanx

I'm so glad you mentioned the model and trim level of car you're working with and any other pertinent modifications so that we could have a clue as to where to begin with helpful suggestions

I have no idea what "hear like sumthin is lose" means. Are you getting dull rattling or knocking noises over bumps? If so, those types of noises are most commonly caused by loose or worn out sway bar bushings and/or endlinks - but since you didn't mention anything about the car, I don't even know if you have sway bars. If not, the second most common culprits are damper and control arm bushings. If this is an '01-05 Civic, the front lower control arm compliance bushings are a common failure point and will cause knocking noises over bumps when they are broken.

 

sorry guess i got ahead of myself?????foh...it's a hb dx model. 94. wen i say loose. i dunno. u know those cracks that u find on almost every white road(not tar) like florida style roads. every time i run over them at creeping speed (ie. less than 5mph) i hear, it annoys the hell outta me.im really thinkin its the lca bushing, wat else cud it be????no i don't have sway bars in the rear at least
