Default Ground Control Problem

I bought some ground controls from a board member. He never used them. I went out and got some tokico blues. The ground controls won't fit over the shockbodies. Now from what I can gather I need Koni Yellows to make them work. If this help at one end on every ground control there is a recess on the inside making an outside lip. What do I need to do???

You need to get yellows. Or sell those and get their standard kit so they will work with your Tokico's.

I'll just get yellows from what I hear blues are like oem and will blow very quickly.

you wasted your money with tokico blues.

even if they did fit, its a crappy shock.

theres nothing more you can do to make the "koni specific" GC fit if you dont have konis, other than get konis.

I run gc w/ tokico blues...To make it fit, just stick something in between the shock and sleeve to make hold it....mine works fine...hope that helps..

he could have the narrow tubes made for the konis. these fit very snug over a set of koni yellows, and probably wouldn't fit over a lot of other shocks.
