Function and Form Coilovers - Made in ?
My guess would be Tiawan like all of the other "pick a color" coilovers. I looked and couldn't find anything specific either; just some evolutionm guys speculating that they are made by the same parent company as megan racing coilovers. Considering they don't come right out and say it, it's more than likely Tiawan. Most companies that even just put over seas parts together in the U.S. claim their product is made in the USA, not assembled in the USA.
Why do you ask? I've been under the impression we'd proven F&F coilovers were useless for anything other than slamming your car a while ago. The only reason they are hanging around is that the kids like shiny colors backed by a mad tite jdm name yo! Lol

Honestly im about to try and sell mine. My 88 Sedan (h22) rides ******* stiff as **** with the Type 2's and I hate the spring rate! Know anyone looking to buy a set? lol
Spend your money on something you really want and that has good reputation. By that, I don't mean go "JDM," but instead, research what suits your driving needs. There's no point in spending money on something that you're more than likely to change out in a few years. Do it once. Do it right. Trust me....lol.
In all honesty there are so many mixed reviews on these, and other similar coilovers I don't know who to believe. Yes they probably aren't as good as $2000 ones, but only way to know is to experiece them and judge for yourself, I like my GC w/ yellows tho.. lol
People need to stop focusing on where they are made and look more into the engineering, material use, integrity, etc... Think about how many things you own that are made in China, Taiwan, etc and you probably love it. What's important is that the engineers used the proper design and materials for the product to work properly and last long, not just because the company is smart sending manufacturing overseas because of a cheaper labor rate.
FWIW, I would never buy these coilovers myself but I probably have other reasons why that a lot of people here.

Why I'm interested in FF is because I read that you can choose your spring rate. I don't care about going low. Wheel gap reduction is what I'm looking for. So that's kind of what "attracted" me toward it.*
Or do you experts think this option (choosing your own spring rate on coils) is overrated?
*Yes, I know I can get springs.

Which car are you looking for? The accord?
IIRC, you were only given the option the chose the spring rates on the 2.5. Which used GC springs. However, you would still be able to swap them on your own.
I did a quick search for them and I can't anything past an 07.
I will it again, the location of where the parts are made means NOTHING! You need to stop worry about where the parts are made, instead how they were made, and the R&D that was done.
Too many poeple get hung up on the Tiawan thing, it doesn't mean crap.
