Function 7 LCA's?
I bought a set of S2s about 2 years ago and have never put them on. Makes me mad that I got them before I knew about F7s.

Indeed, Function7 is worth the money. Almost all quality parts are.
I'm so excited about my Function7 brace, it looks so good, and it's refreshing knowing I've got the best subframe brace out there. An extra week or two wait for a better product is more than worth it.

The main thing the arms lack, or most any aftermarket, are mounting holes for ABS lines. Other than that they are great quality. Has a type of rubber compound vs urethane.
People hump F7 lca's so much. Yes they look good. Yes they have good bushings from the factory. But they aren't the ONLY option that works well like most of HT says. I have buddy club lca's on my Integra and the bushings have held out just fine. If someone really wanted to run cheapo blox lca's or something similar, I'm sure they would work just as well if you put some better bushings in them.
F7's and Buddy Clubs should be grouped together as good options in my opinion. I think more people would stick up for the Buddy Clubs if more people used them.
Cheap lca's need better bushings. F7's and Buddy Club's don't. That what it comes down to.

OEM is not the ONLY way to go. But in reality, OEM LCA's with polyurethane bushings are just as good as aftermarket LCA's, you are right in that regard. The weight savings is next to nothing. Just another shiny part to slap on our cars, really.
OEM, ONLY way to go!
Reduced sprung weight is one of the big reasons. Also because the shock to lca bolt seizes in the bushing. My buddy runs the bc and I use f7 both imo are great. We both have had our for about 4 years now and I've never had bashing problems and neither has he.

The bushings are also smaller which makes it required to trim the bushing to fit.
Buddy club is normally pretty good. I have no experience with their LCA's but I do with their camber kits. None of them have had any issues.
You can't really beat Function7's quality, warranty and customer service. This is why people hump F7. Well, besides the fact they look great.
Some seem to go nuts over the fact a company offers a lifetime warranty, but how do we know they will actually honor the warranty?
I am currently fighting that same thing with a company, offer the warranty, but when the time comes to honor it they are no were to be found.
Your kidding!?

I can't help but wonder if all these companies who offer life time warranties actually stand behind their product. We all know that Koni offers a lifetime warranty, but I haven't exactly read any cases where they actually backed up the product...Its really kind of sad. Nothing against Koni of course...From a business perspective its quite difficult to warranty a product thats 10+ years old. HAHA
*Just for the record HT, humping car parts is dangerous. And should only be done so under parental supervision.
Not kidding at all, they totally advertise it on their site. So I actually went as far as calling them to speak with their customer service. Sure as shizzle, they state their arms have a lifetime warranty, if the busted busings are sent in they'll replace them free of charge. The guy mentioned that since they manufacture them in house they've decided to offer the warranty on the arms stating that since they know what goes into their arms they back them 100%. However shipping is the responsibility of the buyer (which makes sense to me)

I have seen some things on Koni's warranty, and when the honored it and when they didn't.
Most of the times they didn't honor the warranty, is because they weren't the original buyer.
It takes a good company, and one that really stands behind there product to offer a lifetime warranty.
Although, the true test will always be time. Patrickgsr94 has 9+years on his Sports, and has had several different types of suspension on them. That is truly a quality product.
