EG alignment question.TOE..
right now i currently have to replace my tie rods and need an alignment.
my rims are 13 inch rims size tire size 175 75 13 tires. also the tires are still slightly new like 6 months or so but i can see tire ware slightly. and pulls to one side. i swapped fronts right to left... its the tires that are kinda worn. also
the car is dropped a slightly amount like 2 or so inches. the steering wheel is slightly cocked to the left and pulls to the right..
my question is if i change both tie rods i do an alignment to correct the toe
with my tires only slightly worn. will the car sill able to go straight.
alignment with slightly worn tires...
also im wondering if i get my toe to be kind of straight up front
if i someday want to install 15 inch rims or so will that affect any toe etc.. do i have to get another alignment again?
such as rasing my suspension lower or higher do i need another alignment for those?
should i worry about front camber and rear camber, also are there kits for rear toe for eg???
im kinda broke for now and just want to get the toe done.

Yes, if you change the tie rods, you need to align the car.
Worn tires will throw the alignment off.
If you switch to 15's it's best to get a alignment.
If you raise or lower the car you need a alignment.
At a 2'' drop the camber shouldn't be much. A mild amount of camber will not hurt the tires. you need to worry about the toe right now.

If your cheap like me and have a smart phone you can get a $0.99 clinometer app and get the alignment really close that way. The only thing that you can't set is caster but that's not really anything to worry about in your case.
I did my smart phone ghetto alignment then had my brother take my car to work and throw it up on the mercedes alignment rack. I was about 0.1 degrees off on camber on each side from what the phone indicated when I set it and the toe was spot on. Not bad if you ask me. If your reasonably creative and have an hour it's way better than spending $80 or what ever alignments cost these days.

What "more details"? Get the app? Or is the detail you're missing that you aren't sure what needs adjusting to affect the alignment and/or how to actually do it? Please clarify what info you're missing.

Not really sure what you want explained. A clinometer is basically a fancy digital level that will show variation of degrees at any angle.
Beyond that make sure you calibrate the app on a perfectly flat surface on three axis before you use it otherwise your measurements will be way outta wack. When you go to use it get a perfectly flat/straight piece of wood or metal barstock that runs to either edge of the rim but does not touch the tire.
For adjusting camber place your straight object in a vertical position in the middle of the wheel, then put the phone on it, the phone will give you a degree measurement, then adjust accordingly.
For adjusting toe, same principal, just place your straight object horizontally as opposed to vertically.
I mean, just think about how to logically align your car. It's very easy.

That is exactly what I need, thanks! I've done my own alignment with the strings method but I'm giving this a try!
