Icon5 Coilover Recommendations for Street Use

Currently have my EG4 hatch on Cobra lowering springs and wish to replace them with coilovers. Mainly want control over the ride height as its a bit too low and the roads in my country are trash for a super lowered car.

Been looking at brands such as Progress and Tein but still a bit uncertain. The car will see general use and the odd hillclimb guest run so not looking for race-spec coilovers by any means.

Any suggestions would be highly appreciated. (Also living in Europe)

I heard mixed reviews with Tein.
Once my suspension is need of replacement...will probably go with BC Racing.

Can't say enough good about my Tein Flex. Much better than the out of box Koni/GC I used to have.

The other nice thing about BC racing, is that you can order replacement parts down the road.
Not all suspension companies offer Individual dampers, springs, etc.

I am not affiliated in anyway with BC racing

Thanks for all the recommendation lads. I was looking at these HSD Dualtech coils recently. They look like a good value and pretty good quality with a decent amount of adjustments available.

What I'm concerned about is Fork/Eyelet type of LCA, do coilovers need to be specially designed or can they be interchanged?

the rear control arms can be changed. geometry is the same. not all OEM control arms have swaybar mounting available, if that matters to you.

are you in the UK? i guess its better to get whatevers local to your region.

I'm from Malta and the car is the JDM variant. From what I've seen they have the eyelet LCA's so must as well just buy a coilover kit set up for those kind of mounts.
