Default Coilover help please

I know this has probably been disused a hundred times but can I get some peoples opinions on what to do. I bought a set of skunk2 shocks and lowering springs but i kinda fuft up cuz the springs aren't giving me the look i'm looking for So I'll cut my losses and buy some coilover sleeves while keeping the shocks. I just need to know what's good and what's not. I'm thinking of defaulting to skunk2's again but I've heard ground control or better? I only really have around 300 to spend.
Any opinions are appreciated, Thanks

just save up a little more(around 200-300) and you can get function and form type 1 coilovers. well worth it imo.

well if it's only option, get ground control sleeves. i'm not quite sure if the skunk shocks will work though, just make sure they fit n that should be fine then.

Indeed. If you're trying to buy coilover sleeves. Get Ground Controls.

Sell what you have and get progress or Koni/Ground control.

Function/Form has been plagued with shocks leaking in the boxes they were shipped in. Don't buy function/form.

Buy something reliable like progress or koni. Do it right the first time and you won't find yourself posting on here with your predicament. Which is a direct result of you doing it cheaply the first time.

Buying skunk2 or function/form is cheaping out on shocks/springs.

Skunk2 makes fine valvetrain products and intake manifolds. The list stops there as far as I'm concerned.

He didn't buy skunk2 because it was a quality product. He bought it because it was cheap. Whether he knew it was a quality product or not isn't his fault or anything, but the driving force in buying it surely was the price.

The CHEAPEST quality suspension you can buy is koni srt. and a set of good used lowering springs.($350-500) Next is progress CS-II at $580.

The buck stops there for cheap and good.

They still have a the problem of their shocks leaking prematurely.

Progress is a better product with the price point. And you can pick your rates.

You can't dump your car with them, but for performance they're hands down better undoubtedly. Progress has been in the racing business for a while now. And bisimoto holds several world records using their suspension.

I'm pretty new to everything and I thought with skunk2's other stuff being kinda popular I figured that their suspension would work fine.. I needed something cheap and figured it would be better than no brand stuff. Because I've never driven a car with nice suspension so I don't really know what it really feels like lol I'll probably get ground control sleeves if they fit and hope for the best

My advice to you is to slow down, put up with what you have, and buy something quality once you've got the money.

Koni srt and a choice of spring/etc. Progress CS-II is next at $580

Again I refer to the many pictures I've seen of people receiving them with shock oil already leaked into the box.

Fail. Especially people that don't give reasons for their choices.
