coilover help 91 integra
everyone bare with me. im new to this, i have a 91 integra with function forn type 1s. the shock tube that lowers the car is bottomed out. but the back is lower then the front and i wanna go lower in the front but i cant, any suggestions? extended top hats?
Yes extended top hats will help a little bit, or drop the car using the spring. That's your only option when the lower mount is fully bottomed out. We have top hats in stock in the marketplace that fit those dampers.
someone told me that the upper a arm is hitting the towers and isnt letting it go any lower. they said cut the tower but i dot wanna do that. so extended top hats ill buy some
What use is adjustable components if you don't adjust them?
Assuming they aren't already at the lowest position, of course you can go lower by adjusting the spring perch height. Springs themselves, are not adjustable (unless you happen to be making use of belleville springs, which 99.99% of us won't be).

Just jack up that end of the suspension to relieve the pressure and lower the perch. If the spring is currently preloaded, then you'll end up removing the preload, which I suppose means you'll decompress it...
And don't forget to get the car aligned after any ride height change. Your toe will be off.
You're trying to lower the car more, why would you need to compress a spring?
