I tried to adjust my neuspeed coilovers today and i got the passengers side done with little problem. But when i tried to do the drivers side i could not turn the top nut that is on the sleeve . i have put WD 40 on it, tried to hold the sleeve with a channellock, hammer the nut with someone holding the sleeve, and tried to use the wrenches that came with the coilovers to lossen the nut. the sleeve wants to turn because the nut is on so tight with all the dirt, stones and other crap in the threads. i don't have anything else to try besides to take the sleeve of the shock and put the sleeve in a vice and i'm worried with hurting the threads even with the sleeve wraped in a rag.should the sleeve part be able to turn or is there screws missing b/c both sides have been able to turn? please give me some options on how to break this nut free without harming the threads.
