Icon2 5-Lug conversion question .

well, i just bought a 36MM ITR 5-Lug conversion for $750 off a dude on craigslist. jerk said it came with everything including the brakes, rotors, calipers, and rims so i went to go pick them up, but me being a dumb 17year old kid and getting excited didnt pay attention and didnt notice there wasnt no brake calipers till i unloaded them off my truck . i tried callin the dude back but that ahole wont pick up my texts or anything . . . soooo my question is, what brake calipers are going to fit ? i know the 97-01 CRV and 98 Prelude ones fit on the front, but i have no clue what fits on the rear .

Check rockauto.com

They have re built R calipers for $32 for the front. (each From centric) The rears are looking like $80-90 each.

I am still trying to wrap my head around how you didn't see the cailpers were missing. Not trying to be a dick.

But go in market place here, CL, etc. Sometimes people are selling calipers. BUT, be careful. I've seen people ask $300 for front R calipers.

EDIT- I think you can use RSX/EP rear calipers, but they have to be flipped.

its cool, its better then just buying the setup for 1000 then buying the rims separate.

thanks man, ill check it out . i checked at auto zone and they sold the rears for 112.99 +tax . i appreciate the help .

because when i saw the rims, they looked cool. then when i saw the 5lug conversion i just took a quick glance . i trusted he would have it all together. i loaded the rims on the truck while he loaded the 5lug conversion .

So you got wheels/tires in good shape? How are the wheel bearings?

Front calipers are pretty cheap, but you get f'ed on the rear becuase of the E brake.

yeah they have some minor chipping, only 1 has a curb rash and thats why he gave me 5 rims . i need replace 1 wheel bearing -.- but other than that there coo .

ohh its all good, i need the ebrake too lol . . .
its still better than buying the conversion itself for 1000 bucks .

I dont understand this swap. is it just for the show or what, 4x100 wheels are so much easier to find.
