WARNING! Cal State Long Beach Parking Structure - THIEVES ON THE PROWL
Last night, car just got broken into. Didnt get out of the structure, but they did manage to move my car to another parking spot. I did recover it though in the different parking spot.
-Destroyed Ignition and steering lock
-Radio removed (Pioneer p4900IB)
-Microsoft Zune (30gb)
-Foglight wires cut (Thought it was an alarm?)
-Fuel pump wires stripped
-Ovation Guitar (Acoustic/electric) w/ soft case
This took place from the times between 1:30PM-10PM inside the engineering parking structure.
P.S. Since it was a hot day, fingerprints were left ALL OVER the car. Had fingerprints taken and are being tested as we speak.
Just giving ya a heads up!

oh dang...i got to csulb myself. i got about 5 encounters with these F(CKen thieves in the past two months but not at school. what kind of car did u have? did u have an autolock?

Rookies, and yes the were trying to bypass that well know fuel kill switch. The one thats on t-i and what most do. Step up your system with a better alarm system with a dei back up battery and your siren in the fender or a location were it can not be tampered with. A theif will leave a car alone that they can not shut up.

I graduated from CSULB in '06. If you care about your car DO NOT PARK IN THE STRUCTURE. That place was known as Toys R Us for thieves when I was going there, and I'm sure it hasn't changed much. I usually parked in the outdoor lots where my car wasn't so hidden.

Finding parking outside is rough now. They closed down the farthest northeast parking lot (across from the Carpenter center) for the building of a new structure.
