Default Moving to Arkansas in a few weeks...

I posted this in GDD but i'll probably get more replys in here...

Im moving to AR (North Little Rock) here in a few weeks, and I was just wondering how the cops/state feels about cars with swapped motors? From what I have read, they're like the cops here in NC. They don't care unless your doing something wrong. I was just wondering if anyone could give me any kind of insight before the move.

I don't even think they have any clue here. I just moved here from Oregon and I have seen like one import...cant even find a decent Civic to buy here...its definitely domestic country down here. As long as you don't do anything stupid you will never be bothered.

Your on target with that info. L R has a number of Friday night rolls. And if you don't break the traffic law your ok. It's still a little back woods, but fun.

Im not from AR...I live in Little Rock area though. Its ok...if you just treat it as something different/new its fun. Its a little slow on trends and that kind of stuff but the people down here tend to be more friendly/genuine. Would I rather live back on the west coast? Sure, but its not bad here.

Is AR one of those states where you have to have a plate in the front and rear of your car?

Nope just the rear. Hell I haven't even had front turn signals for 2 years and have never gotten questioned for it.

I'm in Searcy myself, are you the Lightning that just joined the local forum on ARRides.com? If not we have a few guys over there with Sonic Blue Lightnings.

We try to have meets ever so often, especially in the Little Rock area. It's mostly domestic dominated but we have some import powerhouses as well.

It's pretty neat, lots of good people. Mostly Central AR. I'm KrAsH on there btw. Hope to see you around.
