I'm in the Fort Worth area.

 

I guess im the only one...but whats up ? Im Tyler. Im actually in mansfield. But I wanted to see if anyone here was from the same area instead of just talking to the general people on the site. What with your cars and a mx-5 and a camaro...why you on this site ? have a honda at one time ?

I had a Honda way before I was ever on this site.

The Camaro and Miata are my toys.

 

I didn't even know this was here. I'm from Weatherford. 20 miles or so west of Ft. Worth. Had a ITR for 5 years. Sold that and now I have a 98 Toyota Tacoma 4x4.

I just started back posting here about a week ago after looking at what was going on in the ITR world. I've been mostly hanging out in GDD with the rest of the non-Honda owners. Its a great place for news. **** gets posted here usually before CNN.

 

Yeah the forum was changed around a tad but it's still here

 

Maybe we can put some life into this section of the forums.

Would be great to see some Tx meets.

I went to a HT meet in Dallas last October IIRC. I brought the GN and didn't know anybody. I'm too scared to talk to Tony.

 

Austin/SA area here. Too many thieves lurking in my area, I keep my distance.

 

I meant local HT meets.

I've been to some of the local car meets.

Thursdays that used to be at Hooters by Bryant Irvin. They moved across the highway.

Wednesdays off of 360. I stopped going to that one when kids tagged one of the buildings during the meet. I guess they didn't think the cops showed up enough.

Pretty much a HUGE once a month meet in Dallas. Lots of exotic and rare cars show up. Very professional meet/show.

 

Did we already miss Dec. Cars And Coffee? I just found out about this a couple of weeks ago.

 

I'm not sure. They may not even have one this month because of the weather.

 

I'll have to try and make one of these.

I wish they lasted a little longer. Making it that far in the early morning on a Sunday might be hard for me to pull off.

 

I know the ones in Cali are a big deal but thats where it originated from I think. Alot of automotive industry big wigs make it out there.

 

im from duncanville its by south dallas and the meet sceen has definately died down id realy like to see some small local meets

 

A few of the small local meets started dying down because people kept getting stupid and doing dumb *** things.

The 360 meet that used to go on in Arlington kept having the cops show up because people would do donuts and **** in the parking lot. I stopped going when some idiots tagged a building.

 

The next Cars & Coffee is 01/30/10 - 6800 Dallas Parkway, Plano TX 75024 - 8am - noon.

 

That's a ways away from me.

We'll see how I'm feeling at the end of the month.
