Default jdm d15b vtec ?

Just got it swapped in but the oil pan gasket is bad and its leaking...would this cause vtec not to work?

if you have horrible oil pressure... yea. there's a vtec pressure sensor that works off oil pressure i'm pretty sure.

the oil pressure sensor doesnt take a reading from the pan. there shouldnt be pressure in the pan

true, if you lose enough oil and dont refill vtec wont engage

well it hasnt worked since i got the car back and when i got it back it was full in oil...and it didnt work then either idk i guess ill have them check it out when they fix the gasket

uhh dont think hes gonna lose that much oil from a gasket leak
