will tranny hold up
i want to put a vtec head on my automatic ls with 100k on it and am not sure if the trans can hold up. i cant blow it out because i need transportation. people tell me to drop a 5 speed in my car but id rather wait untill it starts to blow because i dont want to take it out when its still in good shape. if u have a vtec head on your ls let me know if it held up or not.

if i was you i would sell your car and buy a teggy with a 5spd, with a auto tranny you can't reach the higher rpms with the auto tranny, and you would need to find a auto vtec ecu, and if you are wanting dependible i would not do ls/vtec unless you search search search and put a lot of money into it. thats just my thought.
