I read a big thread about this on another site. They were doing the math on the stopwatch method of writing speeding tickets...kind of amazing how much just simple human reaction time (in relation to hitting the stopwatch button) would change your 'estimated speed'. Seems kinda shady to me...
Of course, once you are going that fast its not really about speeding tickets anymore anyway

Well yea the hayabusa can do almost 200 stock (I have seen one video of a stock busa breaking 200 tho)...
Thats not what I was saying...
The point is they are trying to write 'accurate' speeding tickets by using a stopwatch.

they must be rolling over their asses! and i've never knew how the hell CHP(here in cali)/troopers would find out if you're speeding from above... i guess the mile markers are how they know...
I think i woulda **** my pants if i was that guy... i can see doin 200mph in a race car with full cage and helmet and all, but i couldnt even see doin 200 in a car without a cage, let alone a bike!... that guy is jus plane nuts...

nice... Although he can technically get out of the speeding ticket as the method used of timing the guy to find his speed is illegal. That is what most lawyers would call a speed trap. When you used pre-determined objects and time to base a speed.

The new ones have a speed limiter on them but that is easy to fix.
